I was with my friends last night, working on there photography homework, there assignment was to take 3 portraits of 3 people. Seeing as my group doesn't start taking photography class for another 2 or 3 weeks, I decided to watch what they did, and hopefully get some ideas of what to expect and get couple shots along the way, since I really haven't had a chance to take photos in a while.
While I was in one of the classrooms and everyone was working on all there little set-ups, lights, and poses, I walked around helping my friends and occasionally taking a few pictures.
But when I really started to look around, i started realizing how much these shots really represented what life in "one of the top ten design schools in the world" is like. It gave me the idea to start a hopefully ongoing series of photos about the life of a student in Chavon, and possibly any other dedicated art school in the world. I'm tired of hearing from people "Art student? haha you've got it easy huh?". So i hope that when this series is done, it'll give a little more insight to what an art students life is really like.
